So the day has finally come when Toren has started to reject some food (it has amazed me up to this point that he's willing to eat everything!) and unfortunately for me, his first reject happens to be one of my favorites...avocados. I was ecstatic when I read that avocados make a great first baby food. Finally an excuse to buy avocados! I love avocados, but Justin can take them or leave them, so I often have a hard time rationalizing buying avocados when they tend to be somewhat expensive and half of the avocado usually gets wasted since I can't finish one on my own and they turn bad so quickly. So I've enjoyed using Toren as an excuse to buy avocado for the last 5 months...well it was fun while it lasted.

In other eating updates, Toren has also decided that he no longer really likes Mom and Dad feeding him. He rather make his own mess with his food these days. So I guess we're also kind of done with the whole baby food stage. Oh and also relating to the mouth...he's started biting this week! I guess its payback for my mock biting of him when we wrestle. He's bitten both Justin and I as well as one of our friends and he thinks it's hilarious every time. We don't agree, it really does hurt. So no more play biting. I hope this new habit is short lived.
